A Joyful Celebration: Andy & Michael’s Spring Wedding at The Richland

Some weddings just feel extra special, and Andy & Michael’s spring celebration at The Richland was absolutely one of those days. From the start of our collaboration on Wedding Day Management, we could see how much thought and love they were pouring into their wedding. Everything came together beautifully and seamlessly.

A Dream Team of Vendors

Our vendor team was truly a dream! Every puzzle piece—from florals to catering—felt effortless. As a coordinator, it makes a huge difference when everyone works in harmony. It sets the stage for a stress-free and joy-filled event. That’s exactly what this wedding was all about.

Andy and Michael’s love for each other is palpable the moment you’re near them. Their affection radiated throughout the entire day. Uniquely, the couple chose to get ready together in the on-site suite. This created a quiet, intimate start to the celebration. They even shared private vows in the lounge, just the two of them.

Special Touches: The Richland’s Trolley

One of the most fun parts of the day was the Richland’s trolley! Not only did it provide transportation for guests, but it also served as a charming photo opportunity for the couple. These little touches added so much personality to the day, making it unforgettable.

The couple are also huge Disney lovers. Disneyland plays a crucial role in their love story, and they incorporated sweet nods to it. From custom Mickey hats to framed photos at the park, these touches felt authentic and whimsical. It was clear that they wanted their wedding to reflect their unique love story.

A Beautiful Ceremony

For the ceremony, Andy and Michael walked down the aisle together in the Estelle Ballroom, surrounded by loved ones. Live music by Diana Chu on piano created a beautiful ambiance. Afterward, during cocktail hour, our vendor teams flipped the ballroom to transform it into the reception space. Guests mingled both outside and in the lounge, while our teams worked seamlessly in the background.

The seating chart was creatively displayed using The Richland’s Piaggio, perfectly adorned with florals and photos of the couple. Honored Occasions provided DJ and photo booth services for the rest of the night, keeping the energy alive.

Elegant Reception Design

The reception design was fresh and elegant. Tables were adorned with white linens, green napkins, clear acrylic hexagon name plates, and personalized M&M favors in custom tins. The space truly came to life with lush, seasonal arrangements by Wild & Blooms. These arrangements felt organic and elevated, perfectly suited for a spring wedding.

Some of the reception highlights included a joyous grand entrance, heartfelt first dances, and a delightful buffet dinner by 24 Carrots. Their cake from Patty’s Cakes & Desserts was not only a stunning centerpiece but also delicious. Just when guests thought the fun was winding down, Domino’s Pizza arrived as a delightful late-night snack, much to everyone's surprise and enjoyment!

Capturing Every Moment

Lex and the Lotus captured the emotion and joy of the day through stunning photography. In addition, Eldon Arena beautifully preserved every moment on video, ensuring that these memories would last a lifetime.

From start to finish, this wedding was filled with love and joy, showcasing seamless coordination. It all came together perfectly due to how deeply Andy & Michael care about one another and the important people in their lives. We are truly lucky to have been a part of such a special occasion.
