Kalie and Abraham’s November wedding at Franciscan Gardens was a beautiful reminder that intimate celebrations can feel just as impactful as grand ones. With fewer than 75 guests, their day was thoughtfully designed, deeply personal, and centered on being fully present with the people who matter most.

A Timeless Vision
The couple leaned into a classic black-and-white palette, keeping the overall look timeless and refined. Every detail felt intentional, from the simplicity of the design to the way the day flowed seamlessly from one moment to the next.
First Look at Mission San Juan Capistrano
Before the celebration began, Kalie and Abraham shared their first look at Mission San Juan Capistrano, a quiet and meaningful way to start the day together. The historic setting created the perfect backdrop for this private moment and their romantic portraits, beautifully captured by Cass & Co.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony & Cocktail Hour Flow
Guests gathered at Franciscan Gardens for the ceremony, officiated by Chris from Your Custom Ceremony, where the intimate guest count made the exchange of vows feel especially heartfelt. Florals by OC Flowers and Events complemented the venue with soft, classic arrangements that enhanced the venue setting, without overpowering it.
Following the ceremony, guests transitioned into cocktail hour while the space was flipped for the reception, a smooth and efficient transformation that kept the evening moving effortlessly.

A Thoughtful Reception Design
The reception design tied the black-and-white vision together beautifully. A creative seating chart featuring champagne glasses paired with escort cards welcomed guests into the space, while Signature Party Rentals provided a white seamless dance floor that anchored the entire design and brought the palette together in a clean, modern way.

Dinner was catered by 24 Carrots, followed by dancing and celebration led by Keith from Extreme DJ Service. Kalie’s beauty look by Nikki V was classic and natural, perfectly aligned with the overall aesthetic of the day.
Sweet Treats & A Private Ending

Dessert included cake by Simply Sweet Cakery alongside ice cream from Kin Rose Creamery, giving guests a fun and relaxed way to end the night.
One of the most meaningful moments came after guests had exited, the couple shared a private last dance together. It was a quiet pause at the end of a thoughtfully planned day, allowing Kalie and Abraham to take it all in before stepping into their next chapter.
