Dreamy Rustic Wedding at Scenic Temecula Winery | Lei Anne and John

Updated: Aug 8, 2022

This wedding day was straight from a dream from start to finish, down to every last detail. Aside from the already stunning venue at Lake Oak Meadows, the detailed decor was perfectly executed to create a truly gorgeous event space. The universe was definitely on our side on this perfectly gorgeous Saturday in Temecula. The sun joined us all day and the vibes were absolutely immaculate throughout the whole process, it truly went off without a hitch! The bride and bridal party started getting their glam on bright and early in the venue's stunning bridal suite. This space was the perfect getting ready spot with plenty of room for the bride and her entourage of 8 in the upstairs, complete with it's own bathroom and plenty of mirrors as well as snacks and champagne provided by Lake Oak Meadows There was even room for the groom and his 8 backup boys in the downstairs of the bridal suite to get a couple games of foosball and pool in before the ceremony commenced. The bride and groom did their first look with the perfect background, a rustic oak fence door straight out of a fairytale. Tears of joy fell, but it didn't stop there. The bride then did a first look with the groomsmen and boy were they the best hype crew a bride could ask for! They all basked in her bridal beauty and embraced the couple, getting them ready to walk down the aisle.

There are no words to truly capture how magical this ceremony space was. Rows of white chairs lined the aisle leading up to a gorgeous wooden arc set in front of the venue's scenic lake. The two wine barrels at the start of the aisle greeted guests with framed pictures of the happy couple as well as an unplugged ceremony sign to ensure guests were able to be fully present in this moment celebrating the couple. A wine barrel set in the center of the arc held the geometrically crafted glass vases holding the sand for their sand ceremony. As ceremony commenced, the couple's parents and bridal party strutted down the aisle in pairs, getting ready for the bride to make her grand entrance. Of course we can't leave out their four legged friends, Kona and Bruno, who stole the show with their undeniable cuteness as they made their way down the aisle. As everyone stood, our bride started down the cascading brick staircase, arm in arm with her dad, and made her way to the alter. This was truly such a beautiful moment and her undeniably elegant dress accentuated even more how stunning she is! Their ceremony was perfectly heartwarming and intimate. The couple shared their personalized vows from their custom made vow books and completed the sane ceremony, symbolizing the joining of their two lives. They said their I do's and, of course, sealed it with a kiss, beginning the rest of their forever.

After ceremony, guests made their way around the lake to the other side of the venue for the reception. They were greeted with a an elegant welcome sign and seating arrangement chart, clearly showing where each guest would be enjoying their dinner. Guests mingled in the lawn area for cocktail hour, enjoying the open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres, complete with traditional Filipino eggs rolls, called lumpia. The dessert table was sat at the front of the reception space throughout the night, filled with towers of delicious bite sized desserts set upon a two wine barrel table. Everyone transitioned into the reception area where tables were beautifully decorated with gold chargers, custom printed menus, personalized coasters with each guest name painted on it, tall candles, and lush greenery. The table scapes were truly works of art. The sweetheart table was even more eye catching with a rustic wooden arc decorated with florals to match the table decor and bride's bouquet. Hanging from the arch behind the sweetheart table was a neon sign that said "It was always you", very suiting for these two high school sweethearts. The couple's parents and sponsors promptly made their grand entrance, getting the party started and hyping up the crowd. The bridal party followed with the bride and groom coming last, and they immediately broke out into a choreographed dance with all their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Guests then enjoyed the buffet-style dinner and as they were winding down from eating, the couple gave their thank you speech followed by their first official dance as husband and wife. The bride and her dad then shared a special moment during the father daughter dance, followed by the groom and his mom. The DJ then announced for all the single ladies to get up out of their seats and fight it out for the brides bouquet., where one of her bridesmaids gracefully caught the bouquet. A highlight of the night was the garter toss, where the groom sat his newly wed wife down and performed a strip tease in front of all their family and friends, complete with a money gun that shot fake dollar bills everywhere. After he secured the garter, he tossed it out to all the single guys. They then did a money dance where guests could share a dance and individually congratulate the couple, wishing them a lifetime of happiness. As a surprise for the bride, the bridal party and groom broke out in yet another choreographed hip hop number to get the party started. This venue even had a separate indoor dance area to the side of the reception space where guests danced the night away. All the stops were pulled out, and the lake and waterfall were set on fire for a cinematic touch when the sun went down. From start to finish, this wedding was the perfect mix of heartwarming, elegant, and most importantly a FUN and memorable night for the couple and all their guests!
