Lively atmosphere, delicious food, and glamorous decor are how I would describe this wedding day for our stunning couple, B & S. The day started with the couple getting ready in their separate rooms with their closet friends and family there to share these special moments with them. The bride fashioned a stunning traditional Indian gown and colorful, bold makeup accented her eye-catching gold dress. The gown was intricately designed with detailed beading throughout, it was truly a show-stopper. Once the couple was ready for their big day, they did an intimate first look to start off their wedding day. Loving sentiments were exchanged as they got ready to greet all their closest friends and family and celebrate their love.
The festivities began with a cocktail hour on the Tiffany Terrace of Anaheim's Sheraton Park Hotel before the ceremony and reception. Wanting to keep the ceremony intimate and simple, they decided to do a civil ceremony in the reception space before partying as opposed to the traditional order of ceremony, cocktail hour, and then reception. The indoor-outdoor cocktail space was the perfect mingling area for guests to grab drink from the two bars set up in the area as well as the buffet style hors d'oeuvres of traditional Indian bites. As guests mingled amongst themselves, the couple got timeless pictures with each of their family members that they are sure to cherish forever. After photos the couple had a chance to enjoy the Tiffany Terrace and a couple drinks and bites of food before their entrance.
Before guests made their way into the reception space, the couple did a private first look of the stunning banquet room. The couple was awestruck as they saw their wedding day vision come to life. The decor was all gorgeous glamour, with blush floral centerpieces and royal blue accents on the table settings. Tall towering floral centerpieces were distributed on some of the tables, giving an elegant and regal feel. Floating tea light candles hanging from crystal fixtures accented the tall centerpieces of the head tables giving a whimsical and moody feel. The stage sat in the front center of the room and was just as beautifully decorated. A loveseat couch with sequined pillows sat against a stunning backdrop of white and blush drapery accented with a dangling crystal curtain. Disco balls and a stunning lighting fixture hung above the loveseat couch, contributing to the regal ambiance of the room. It was truly a breathtaking space and one set for the celebration coming! As guests moved into the reception space, they found their seats listed on custom printed seating charts outside of the banquet room doors.
Once guests were sat, the family members of the couple entered, getting the crowd hyped for the couple's grand entrance. And grand it was! The couple made their way in on a traditional Indian Rickshaw, provided by LA Rickshaw. The rickshaw was then repurposed as a Photo Booth for guests to take fun pictures in! After their entrance the couple did a heartwarming and touching civil ceremony on the stage, led by one of the bride's childhood best friends. B & S said their I do's and sealed their love by completing a sand ceremony, representing the eternal joining of their two lives. The couple's closest friends and siblings gave touching speeches, paying tribute to the love story and wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. Dinner service then began and guests enjoyed a large buffet of all their favorite traditional, authentic Indian food. As guests ate the couple made rounds to each table to say thank you to their guests for joining them on their special day. Once dinner was over, the couple did their first dance followed by the bride dancing with her brother and uncle and the groom doing a touching mother son dance. Once dances were complete, the crowd all got up out of their seats and onto the dance floor for a high group picture. From there the dancing and partying began and boy did they know how to party! The music was lively, with a mix of American pop and Bollywood music. The crowd danced the night away and the energy never depleted. It was the perfect day to celebrate the unwavering love B & S have for each other and their wedding details were truly a dream!
