Some couples just have that extra-sweet, easygoing energy that makes planning with them a joy and Chloe and Tanner were exactly that. They booked our 2 Month Wedding Day Management package. From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, thoughtful, and excited to celebrate their love with the people who matter most. Working with couples like them is exactly why I love what I do.

The Sweetest Start to Summer

Their wedding kicked off the summer season beautifully. It featured a heartfelt ceremony at Pines Park in Dana Point, followed by a romantic reception at the charming Jewel of Ortega in San Juan Capistrano. Chloe got ready with her girls that morning at Jewel of Ortega. Makeup was done by the talented Viola Norman, while Tanner prepared at a private residence near the park. They had their first look at Pines Park, in the most peaceful little spot overlooking the beach. It was one of those quiet, sweet moments that really makes you pause.

Chloe wore a veil with their names custom-embroidered—a perfect detail that felt meaningful and personal. The wedding party looked amazing, especially the bridesmaids in soft yellow, carrying parasols that added a whimsical touch.

Wedding Ceremony with a View

Dalavy from our team led coordination at the ceremony. I moved between sites as the lead for the day, while Emily handled setup at the reception. The ceremony was set against the ocean view at Pines Park, with florals by Wildflower Floral and rentals from Lake Forest Party Rentals. An ASL interpreter, Mona, ensured that every guest felt included, which was a beautiful and thoughtful addition to the day.

Handmade Touches and Heartfelt Moments

After the ceremony, guests made their way to Jewel of Ortega for the reception. The couple’s attention to detail and DIY spirit really came through here. Reception florals were lovingly arranged by Chloe and her bridal party. The tables were dressed with green and white plates, beige runners, floating candles, and bud vases—simple, charming, and elegant.

Rentals from Signature Party Rentals helped bring the vision to life. Luxury Flush provided elevated restroom accommodations that fit seamlessly with the overall guest experience.

One of the most special details? Instead of a single wedding cake, Chloe’s grandmother baked three cakes for them. Each one felt like a love letter from their family kitchen, so personal and sweet.

A Night to Celebrate

Guests enjoyed tacos by Borracho Tacos and drinks served by Sips Up Mobile Bar. The evening rolled into a super cute first dance between Chloe and Tanner, heartfelt speeches, and parent dances. Music was handled by Daniel from Extreme DJ Service, who kept the energy just right all night long. The black and white checkered dance floor gave the space a playful edge and made the dance party photos extra fun.

One of the biggest hits? The money dance, guests were all in, and it was such a fun way to get everyone up and involved! After the bouquet and garter toss, the dance floor was officially open, and the celebration just kept going.

A Day Full of Love

Photography by Kay Luna Pix and videography by Christian Heflin beautifully captured every emotional moment. Transportation between the ceremony and reception was handled smoothly thanks to shuttle driver Will.

Chloe put so much love into the planning, she’s very Type A (her words!). Understandably, she had a little hesitation around letting go on the day-of. But by the time the big day arrived, she truly allowed herself to relax, enjoy, and trust our team. It was so rewarding to see her fully present, smiling, and soaking up every moment. That’s what we’re here for—and moments like that make it all worth it.

This wedding wasn’t just beautiful, it was full of heart. Chloe and Tanner’s day was layered with meaning, family, friends, and joy. I’m so grateful I got to witness it all. Wedding coordination is not just for the timelines and logistics, but for the people, the love, and the memories made. If you're dreaming of a wedding day that’s just as meaningful and joy-filled, let’s make it happen. Book your own unforgettable celebration with us.

Cheers to The Cooks 💛

With Love,

Makayla
